Born in Mumbai, India. Based in Chicago, IL.
Amala Love is a versatile artist whose focus is in sculpture, anime, and pop surrealism which she portrays through acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Her pieces are inspired by life instances and lessons which express her inner thoughts and emotions.
Over time, her work has evolved from a dark, mysterious style to vivid and vibrant as she expands her horizons and experiments with new mediums. She likes to add gold accents in her pieces because gold is a big part of her culture, as it represents prosperity and royalty, and green as it symbolizes tranquility and peace. She aspires to create art that is vibrant and captivating, while exuding a balance of light and dark tones simultaneously to create balance and reflect duality.
